MONTY KIDDO AT MISSISSIPPI UNDERGROUND
\nChicago’s Monty Kiddo makes his way to Mississippi Underground on Friday, September 25.
\nPulling influence from disco, funk, UK garage and house, Monty Kiddo has built a sound centered around groove and dance floor energy. After beginning to DJ and produce in 2017, he entered Chicago’s live scene in 2021 and has since continued to build his name both behind the decks and through a growing catalog of original music.
\nAlong the way, Monty has performed at Chicago’s ARC Music Festival and shared stages with artists including ANOTR, LF SYSTEM, PRUNK and Jungle.
\n2026 has marked another major stretch of releases for Monty Kiddo, including “Scandalize,” “Do Si Do,” “Going Up,” “Big Time” and his latest single, “Respect.” That run follows releases including “Are You Ready?,” “The Sit Down,” “Area Code” and “On The Run 2025,” his collaboration with Secondcity and Big Time Charlie.

Flux Pavilion returns to Mississippi Underground.
\nAfter a sold out show the last time he stepped into MU, one of dubstep’s most influential names is coming back to St. Louis on Saturday, October 3.
\nFor more than 15 years, Flux Pavilion has been responsible for records that helped define an era of electronic music. His 2010 anthem “I Can’t Stop” became a defining record of the genre, later sampled by Jay-Z and Kanye West on “Who Gon Stop Me” from Watch the Throne. “Bass Cannon” followed in 2011, becoming another cornerstone of his catalog and reaching the UK Singles Chart.
\nNow, that catalog is entering another chapter.
\nAfter regaining control of masters from his early career, Flux Pavilion has revisited the music that helped launch him, releasing “Flux’s Version” editions of both “I Can’t Stop” and “Bass Cannon.” The latter has already received a new official remix from Crankdat, bringing one of dubstep’s most recognizable records into a new generation.
\nBeyond those anthems, Flux Pavilion has spent his career as a producer, DJ, songwriter and co-founder of Circus Records, the independent label he helped establish alongside Doctor P and others in 2009. His career has taken him to stages including Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Glastonbury and Reading Festival, while his catalog has continued to reach far beyond the electronic music world.

\nDenver-based producer Dirt Monkey has built a distinct place in bass music through playful, high energy production and an approach that refuses to stay confined to a single genre. \nAfter releasing his debut full length project in 2012, Dirt Monkey made a major impact with his 2017 album Wubula and has continued building an extensive catalog of albums, singles, collaborations and remixes. His music has appeared on labels including Bassrush, Deadbeats, SubCarbon and Wakaan, and in 2019 he launched his own imprint, 19K.
\nHis career has also taken him to some of electronic music’s biggest stages, including Lost Lands, EDC Las Vegas and Electric Forest, alongside multiple North American headline tours and two headline performances at Denver’s Mission Ballroom.

\nThe first night belongs to SHADES, the collaborative project of Alix Perez and EPROM, two highly respected producers whose individual backgrounds in drum & bass, experimental electronic music and bass collide in a project built around intricate sound design, massive low end and unconventional production.
\nJoining them is SHLUMP, the Bay Area producer behind his self-described “Alien Bass” sound. Blending classic dubstep influences, psychedelic sound design and serious low end, Shlump has released music through labels including Wakaan, Deadbeats and Deep Dark & Dangerous and has appeared on festival stages including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Shambhala and Bass Canyon.
\nSATURDAY, OCTOBER 31, HALLOWEEN NIGHT, MERSIV + TRUTH
\nOn Halloween itself, MERSIV takes over Wicked Warehouse. The Mersiv project is built around complete immersion in sound, an identity its official site defines around the mental, physical and spiritual embrace of the present moment through music.
\nThen we descend even further with TRUTH, the New Zealand dubstep duo and founders of Deep Dark & Dangerous. Their deep, heavyweight approach to dubstep has taken them around the world, including performances and DDD takeovers at festivals such as Shambhala, Outlook and Infrasound.
\nAnd we’re nowhere near finished.
\nThis is PHASE 1.
\nMore artists are still to be announced across multiple stages as we build out two full nights inside Mississippi Underground.
